Inside you'll find Buttercup, Pigtails, Sherbet and Blossom, bringing together juicy pinks, peachy corals, zesty yellow-greens and soft glowing shifts that change as they catch the light.

These aren't your typical autumn shades and that's exactly the point. 🍂🌈

While everyone else reaches for beige and brown, we're adding colour back into the season. Think autumn sunsets, late-blooming flowers, fruity sorbets and those last beautiful bursts of colour before winter arrives.

Duochromes are extra special because one shade never looks like just one colour. As you move and the light changes, another tone begins to appear giving your eye look that beautiful shifting, dimensional finish Karla Cosmetics is known for.

And don't think you need to be a makeup artist to use them. Our loose pigments are all about experimenting. Wear one all over the lid, add a pop to the inner corner, layer different Sweethearts together or go all out and use all four shades in one look just like our eye model has here. 🌈✨

✨ PRIME FIRST

Apply a thin layer of Fix Potion Clear Primer wherever you want your pigment. Because it's clear, it gives the loose pigment something to grip onto while allowing its beautiful true colour and shift to POP.

🫧 PRESS, DON'T SWEEP

Pick up your pigment using our K1 Silicone Brush or K2 Bubble Brush and gently press it onto the Fix Potion. Silicone is brilliant for loose pigments because you're pressing the product into place rather than sweeping that gorgeous shimmer away.

🌈 PLAY WITH THE FOUR TOGETHER

Don't feel like you have to choose just one! Place each shade in a different area of the eye and softly bring them together. The eye look pictured uses all four Sorbet Sweethearts.

💖 A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY

Start with a tiny amount and build. You can always add more and building in thin layers helps you really see those duochrome shifts come alive.

Yes! Most of our products are lovingly handmade in the UK. Every batch is carefully crafted and quality checked by our small team to ensure it meets our high standards before it reaches you.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes! Animal welfare is incredibly important to us. Whilst we are not currently officially certified as cruelty-free, we do not conduct or commission animal testing on our ingredients, formulations or finished products.

Are your products vegan-friendly?

Absolutely. All Karla Cosmetics products are vegan-friendly and made using premium ingredients that contain no animal-derived ingredients or by-products.

Do your products contain microplastics?

None of our eyeshadows, pigments, highlighters or skincare products contain microplastics.

Our Special Effect Glitters are made from cosmetic-grade synthetic glitter, which is non-biodegradable. To help protect the environment, we kindly ask that any excess glitter is disposed of in the bin rather than washed down the drain.

Is your mica ethically sourced?

Yes. We use laboratory-created mica made from natural ingredients rather than mined mica. This allows us to achieve the same beautiful sparkle while avoiding the ethical concerns associated with traditional mica mining.

Should I patch test before use?

Yes. We always recommend patch testing before applying any new cosmetic product, particularly if you have sensitive skin.

Apply a small amount to your wrist, inner elbow or behind your ear and leave for 24 hours. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

How can I photograph my makeup looks?

Our multichrome pigments are highly light-reactive. For the most accurate colour shifts and sparkle, we recommend photographing your makeup in soft, natural daylight rather than under harsh direct lighting.

Karla has no competition!!!

Since my first order from Karla cosmetics, I’ve become hooked and will stay loyal. The multichrome magic that has been created is insane! The formulas are perfection, the pay of and the way it lasts all day! Value for money because a little truly goes a long long way. Lia is amazing and helped me make a tough choice between two shades, I left it in her hands to surprise me, girl got the vibe! I use the loose pigments and shadow potions as eyeliner on my under eye, and now everyone expects me to have it done when I’m out, I feel naked without it, the fix potion is a must have to prep. I’ve tried other “multichrome” pigments from about two other brands, and they’re not even in the same league as Karla, so for that reason I’m addicted to Karla now! The shock and awe when my first order arrived, and as soon as I played around with it, I was kinda speechless, the multichrome colour shifts are out of this world, and I’m convinced they must have used some kind of magic, because I’ve not seen anything like it or used anything like it in my life, make up is magic, and it’s joy, and Karla cosmetics has reignited my interest and passion in makeup again. If you ever think about buying from Karla, my advice? Do it, take a chance, and see for yourself, you’ll have zero regrets. The help and advice that is on offer from staff is also amazing! All I have left to say, is bloody hell, what are you all waiting for, treat yourself, and see for yourself! Wish I could give more than five stars for this review!
