International Shipping, Customs & Import Fees Policy

 

Karla Cosmetics ships worldwide from the United Kingdom. When ordering internationally, your parcel may be subject to customs duties, import taxes (VAT/GST), brokerage fees, and handling charges upon arrival in your country.

These fees are set by your local customs authority and courier, not by Karla Cosmetics. Because of this, we cannot predict or control the exact amount charged.

 

Who pays customs fees?

 

All import duties, taxes, and customs handling fees are the responsibility of the customer (the recipient of the parcel) unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Some countries apply these charges once the parcel enters the country, and payment is required before the parcel can be released for delivery.

 

Important: Refused customs charges

If a parcel is refused due to unpaid customs or import charges, the shipment will be returned to us by the courier.

In these cases:

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable

• Return shipping charges and carrier handling fees may apply

• A restocking/handling fee may be deducted from your refund

The remaining balance will be refunded once the parcel safely arrives back at our warehouse.

 

Customs notifications

 

Couriers typically contact the recipient directly via email, SMS, or delivery notice to request customs payment. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor these communications and respond promptly to avoid delays or returns.

 

We do not control customs laws

 

Import regulations and charges are determined by the destination country. If you have questions about customs fees, we recommend contacting your local customs authority before placing an order.

USA Orders

 

For some shipping services to the United States, customs and tariff fees may be covered by Karla Cosmetics. When applicable, this will be clearly indicated at checkout.

 

Canada & Other International Destinations

Orders shipped to Canada and other countries may be subject to duties, GST/HST, or brokerage fees charged by the courier or customs authority upon arrival.

These charges are not included in your order total.

Lost, refused, or abandoned parcels

 

If a parcel is refused, abandoned, or returned due to unpaid customs charges, incorrect address information, or failure to respond to the courier, return costs will be deducted from the refund.
